I love I Am Number Four, that was a great book, and a decent movie.
I wish the question was which book to movie you hate the most...that question is soo much easier.
Hm...
I'm going to definitely have to say...Interview with the Vampire. The movie did a phenomenal job getting everything in there, plus, Lestat was played by Tom Cruise...what could be better?
The Secret Garden. Such a great book, and a truly amazing movie.
Oh I love Beastly movie because the value of the story is nice! Beastly is a fantasy romance feature film, based mostly on Alex Flinn's 2007 novel of the exact same name. Have you seen the movie?
I don't know if the giveaway is international or not. If yes, count me in :) Thank you

My favorite is The Princess Bride. I didn't even know the book existed until I saw it at a friend's house! I already loved the movie, so when I read the book and it didn't all match up, it didn't bother me too much. Overall, great book and movie!!
I have a lot of favorite movies that are made after books... my top two are The Princess Bride and Pride and Prejudice I'd have to say.
I haven't read Princess Bride yet but I have every intention tom my favorite part is when Buttercup pushes Westley down the hill and he says "as you wish" as he's rolling and she jumps down the hill when she realizes who it is.
Pride and Prejudice was a really good book but it made it much easier to see a visual representation of it.
I definitely agree with AC on the question being about hated book -> movies...soooo many of those (Eragon!!)
As for my favorite...I'd have to say that it's a tie between Pride and Prejudice (all the versions I've seen are excellently adapted) and Stardust, which although is not completely true to the book, somehow managed to not make me angry...I even watched it 3 more times.
The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons were SUPER good books! And the movies were also really good too! Although they did change it up a bit...but other than that, the suspense in the movie was ALMOST as good as when you read the books.
My favorite would be The Series of Unfortunate Events... I love the series, and I could watch the movie a million times over. Jim Carrey is awesome as Count Olaf.
This week's winner is...Ann Diana Dinh.
Gotta say, I loved all your answers. If you haven't read the Princess Bride, you should do so ASAP! I love it so <3
