Weekend Book Give-Away: Black City
In the mood for reading about star-crossed lovers in a post-war fantasy world? If so, Black City by Elizabeth Richards might be just the book for you!
Ash, a sixteen-year-old twin-blood who sells his addictive venom, "Haze," to support his dying mother, and Natalie, the daughter of a diplomat, discover their mysterious--and forbidden--connection in the Black City, where humans and Darklings struggle to rebuild after a brutal war.
For a chance to win an Advanced Readers Copy of Black City, tell me about the most unlikey/unsuitable/unrealistic crush you've ever had (no need to name names, just say why it would probably never work...like me and Johnny Depp ;)
Winner will be selected with Random Number Generator on Tuesday April 9, 2013. Be sure to leave a name with your entry, and check back to see if you won. To win you must be a teen (6th-12th grade, or 12-18) who uses a Sno-Isle Library.

Well, there was this one movie star that i had a crush on but it totally was so stupid because he was so much older than me and it never would have happened anyways.
I know for a fact I am not the only one who has/had a fictional book character crush. I've had a few actually including Yannick from "The Red Necklace", Peeta from "The Hunger Games", and Fang from the "Maximum Ride Series". Oh and Garret from the movie "Quest for Camelot" when I was kid.
I just finished watching the TV show Awkward and I just fell in love with Jake. He's so sweet, funny, and easy-going in the show, everything you would want in a boyfriend/crush and I just love everything about him. The thing is hes a character and it would never happen because its only a show and Jake isn't really real.
It is impossible to meet him but I did have a crush on Edward from twilight and in the movie. He is so lovable but it is very unrealistic.
Ramil from Dragonfly, but once again he is a fictional character and doesn't actually exist.
It's still the ninth! I was checking to see if I ha one and realized my comment isn't up!!! So I will reiterate. (haha big word) My most unrealistic could be said as Robert Pattinson, Max Irons, or Harry Styles. But hey I always like to think there's a magical chance of me meeting one of them and having a fairy tale ending. So really my most unrealistic is the crushes I have from books because as much as I am imaginative I'm not crazy. So unfortunately Peeta, Jace, Ren, Tobias and all my other dreamboat novel characters are my most unrealistic and impossible crushes.
Fang :O I totally forgot how much I love him tell I read your comment! I have to go reread the series now, thanks Alice!
Sorry I didn't get this up yesterday...I was out on the bookmobile!
Random Number Generator picked #5 - Maddy E! You should be able to pick up the book tomorrow at your library :)
