Did you know that Lauren Kate (author of the Fallen series) has a brand new series coming out?!
Teardrop is an epic saga of
heart-stopping romance, devastating secrets, and dark magic . . . a
world where everything you love can be washed away. Never, ever cry... Eureka Boudreaux's mother drilled that rule into her daughter years
ago. But now her mother is gone, and everywhere Eureka goes he is there:
Ander, the tall, pale blond boy who seems to know things he shouldn't,
who tells Eureka she is in grave danger, who comes closer to making her
cry than anyone has before. But Ander doesn't know Eureka's darkest
secret: ever since her mother drowned in a freak accident, Eureka wishes
she were dead, too. She has little left that she cares about, just her
oldest friend, Brooks, and a strange inheritance--a locket, a letter, a
mysterious stone, and an ancient book no one understands. The book
contains a haunting tale about a girl who got her heart broken and cried
an entire continent into the sea. Eureka is about to discover that the
ancient tale is more than a story, that Ander might be telling the truth
. . . and that her life has far darker undercurrents than she ever
imagined.
Teardrop doesn't hit the shelves until the 22nd, but we already have 9 people waiting...but you have a chance to get an Advanced Readers Copy next week!

One piece of advice I remember reading that really stood out to me was no one ever gets anything done by waiting.
one piece of advice that i got that i try to live by is (and i know its really cheesy) treat everyone the way you want to be treated.
One piece of advice I try to live by is that people won't remember you for what you've done but how you made them feel. Also, my other favorite piece of advice is just laugh.
One piece of advice I was given was to not take everything so seriously and to live life in the moment.
Someone once told me that you should live your life day by day and try not to dwell on past or future too much. I think that is one of the things that helps me get through the day.
a good piece of advice that I have gotten was to not worry about the small things.
Random Number Generator picked #1, so the book will be going to Alice-Alise Vu at the Mukilteo Library. You should be able to get it from your new teen librarian Melleny tomorrow afternoon :D
