Weekend Book Give-Away: Ditched

There are few events in high school that have more expectations than prom.  Right up there with graduation, it seems to be an event nearly everyone is either looking forward to, or dreading.  From dinner plans, to finding the right outfit, to making memories that are supposed to last a lifetime...this is supposed to be a big deal.  But what if you get through all that buildup, and then don't remember it? In this week's book is Ditched: A Love Story by Robin Mellom, Justina's prom is not what she expected:

When high school student Justina ends up in a ditch in the middle of the night after prom, she stumbles to a nearby 7-Eleven where she tries to recall exactly how she got there.

For a chance to win an advance reader copy of this book, tell me what you want prom to be like.  Do you plan to skip it and go see a movie with your best friend?  Rent a limo with your pals? Make your own dress?  Or just show up in overalls?

Winner will be selected with Random Number Generator on Tuesday May 22, 2012. Be sure to leave a name with your entry, and check back to see if you won. To win you must be a teen (6th-12th grade, or 12-18) who uses a Sno-Isle Library.

I plan on either going with my friends (with a really small budget) or staying home.

I already had my prom, and no one ended up in a ditch...or at least none in my party did.
I got my dress at the Thrift store, cause I was NOT going to spend big bucks on a dance I didn't really want to go to. My date was my best friend Jordan, (we asked each other to go by singing The Proclaimers to each other. Oh 500 miles, you are romantic) she and I danced the night away...well not really, we don't do slow dancing.
Even though I didn't want to go, I had a lovely time with my friends, and I kind of wish I had gone to junior prom (But don't tell my friends that :) )

Hmm... That's a toughie... I think the perfect prom would making my own dress, renting a limo would be so much fun, and I'll most definatley be going with my friends! The dance is going to be fun no matter what, but what I want to be really special is the way the boy asks me (provided I get a date) now that has to be special!

By the way, I was wondering about what's going on with the summe book review contest. I haven't heard anything about it recently but I'm super excited for it when it comes! His year I will be triumphant!

Random Number Generator chose #2...so this week's book goes to Ashley. Since Laura is out of town, I'm sending your book to the Marysville Library care of Amanda.
