Weekend Book Giveaway: Dare You To

This week's book Dare You To, an exciting new book from Katie McGarry, the author of last year's popular Pushing the Limits:

If anyone knew the truth about Beth Risk's home life, they'd send her mother to jail and seventeen-year-old Beth who knows where. So she protects her mom at all costs. Until the day her uncle swoops in and forces Beth to choose between her mom's freedom and her own happiness. That's how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn't want her and going to a school that doesn't understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn't get her, but does...Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock--with secrets he can't tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn't be less interested in him. But what begins as a dare becomes an intense attraction neither Ryan nor Beth expected. Suddenly, the boy with the flawless image risks his dreams--and his life--for the girl he loves, and the girl who won't let anyone get too close is daring herself to want it all..

If you want a chance to skip the line (18 people waiting right now!) and get your own copy of this book, tell me about the craziest dare someone has put you up to, and if you went through with it or not.

Winner will be selected with Random Number Generator on Tuesday July 9, 2013. Be sure to leave a name with your entry, and check back to see if you won. To win you must be a teen (6th-12th grade, or 12-18) who uses a Sno-Isle Library.

I haven't been involved in too many crazy dares, but the craziest one is probably when their were a bunch of girls at a birthday party and some of them were pretty popular. We decided to go around in a circle and say who we liked and by the time it got to me, THREE other people had already admitted to liking the guy that I liked, it was awkward but I did admit that I liked him too.

I try to stay on the physically and legal safe side of daring, so the only thing I can recall is when I was at a birthday party and there was a list of things we had to do at the mall and take pictures of before our time was up, and since I was the most "daring" of my friends, I was the one chosen to o all of them. So I had to hug random people, starfish on the ground, and try on weird clothing.

i usually try to stay away from dares. And im kind of a germaphobe so when my friends dared me to lick someone else s foot i got so grossed out that i said i needed to go to the bathroom and i didn't come back for awhile. so no i didn't go through with it.

The craziest dare I have ever done is kissing a slug. I managed to get so close as to not even having 1cm. of space in-between us, but I ended up bailing out and was unable to.
