Teen Library Trends: Movies in August

Looking for something fun to do this summer and love to watch movies with your friends?  A number of your Sno-Isle libraries are hosting movie nights in the next few months, and they would love for you (and your friends) to join them!  Check out the schedule and stop by

• Wednesday, August 1st: Teen Movie Marathon featuring "Frankenstein" (1931), "Bride of Frankenstein" (1935), "The Ghost of Frankenstein" (1942), "The House of Frankenstein" (1945), "Frankenstein Meets Wolfman" (1943), and "The Curse of Frankenstein" (1957) at the Oak Harbor Library from 9:00am-5:45pm.
• Wednesday, August 1st: Teen Double Feature with "Red Riding Hood" and "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows" at the Mountlake Terrace Library from 2:00-6:00pm.
• Wednesday, August 1st: "War Horse" at the Coupeville Library from 5:30-8:00pm.
• Wednesday, August 1st: "The Others" at the Darrington Library from 6:30-8:30pm. 
• Thursday, August 2nd: "WALL-E" at the Arlington Library from 2:00-3:30pm.
• Saturday, August 4th: "War Horse" at the Oak Harbor Library from 2:00-4:30pm.
• Tuesday, August 7th: "Men in Black" at the Mukilteo Library from 2:00-4:00pm.
• Thursday, August 9th: "The Core" at the Arlington Library from 2:00-4:30pm.
• Monday, August 13th: "The Goonies" at the Edmonds Library from 3:00-5:30pm.
• Tuesday, August 14th: "The Phantom of the Opera" at the Mukilteo Library starting at 2:00pm.
• Wednesday, August 15th: Teen Double Feature with "The Green Lantern" and "Thor" at the Mountlake Terrace Library from 2:00-6:00pm.
• Thursday, August 16th: "Armageddon" at the Arlington Library from 2:00-4:45pm. 
• Saturday, August 18th: "War Horse" at the Freeland Library from 2:00-4:00pm.
• Tuesday, August 21st: "Hugo" at the Mukilteo Library from 2:00-4:30pm.
• Tuesday, August 21st: Teen Movie (title to be determined) at the Granite Falls Library from 3:00-5:00pm.
• Wednesday, August 22nd: "The Woman in Black" at the Marysville Library from 6:00-9:00pm.
• Monday, August 27th: "The Bride of Frankenstein" at the Monroe Library from 6:00-8:00pm. 
• Tuesday, August 28th: "Footloose" at the Lynnwood Library from 4:00-6:00pm.
• Wednesday, August 29th: "The Hunger Games" at the Oak Harbor Library from 2:00-4:30pm.

Many of these offer free popcorn and soda... and sometimes even a free movie drawing!
