Do you love books that take the classics and bring more to the story? Then perhaps you should try and win this week's book give-away: The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll & Mademoiselle Odile by James Reese.
In this prequel to "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" set
in 1870s Paris during the Prussian siege, an orphaned sixteen-year-old
girl whose knowledge of witchcraft includes transformation spells meets a
young medical doctor from London.
For a chance to win this week's book, tell me about which classic story you think needs a prequel or a sequel...and what would you like included in it?
Winner
will be selected with Random Number Generator on Tuesday July 10, 2012. Be sure
to leave a
name with your entry, and check back to see if you won. To win you must
be a teen (6th-12th grade, or 12-18) who uses a Sno-Isle Library.

Can we rewrite the classics to give the Tale of Two Cities a better ending? If not...then I'll just give it a prequel. I want to learn the history of the amazing Sidney Carton, I want to know what made him who he was. I feel as if ToTC focused too much on Lucy. I want to read a book that is centered on Carton...the end ;)
Well, I, for one, want to see a sequel to Pride and Prejudice. I've always wondered what happens to the other Bennet sisters. Or even how Elizabeth and Darcy's marriage goes after the end. I mean, it couldn't have been super happy....they probably argued quite a bit.
This one goes to Ashley!
