Weekend Book Give-Away: After Obsession

This week's book is beautiful brand new hardcover copy of After Obsession by Carrie Jones and Steven E. Wedel. Some of you may be familiar with Carrie's books Need, Captivate, and Entice.  She also blogs on LiveJournal with hilarious results.  This book is a bit more serious than that, and looks to be really interesting:

When Alan, a half-Navajo in touch with the spiritual mysticism of his ancestors, meets Aimee, a gifted psychic in his new high school, they realize they've had precognitive dreams of each other and that they must confront an evil spirit that has been responsible for mysterious deaths in the river in their small Maine town for hundreds of years and which is now haunting Alan's cousin Courtney.

To enter to win this book, tell me about either a dream you had that seemed to be a precognition, or an obsession you once had but are now totally over!

Winner will be selected by my buddy Random Number Generator on Tuesday February 28, 2012 (I'm taking a week off to train to be a lifeguard!). Be sure to leave a name with your entry, and check back to see if you won. To win you must be a teen (6th-12th grade, or 12-18) who uses a Sno-Isle Library.

Well, most of my dreams are a bit too crazy to be precognitions, but I do have a lot of obsessions that come and go. Most recently, I was obsessed with the image of a girl with a bandage over her eyes. I have absolutely no idea why my brain decided to become affixed to that image, but it did, and I incorporated it into EVERYTHING- the novel I've been working on, sketches on my biology homework, the short story assignment we were supposed to do for creative writing class, and even poems and songs. Just a few days ago, the image left my mind, but it was still pretty weird.

I once had a dream about a conversation between a friend and myself. That morning we had the same conversation. I thought it odd he repeated the same things I had dreamed about.

I have had weird obsessions that have come and gone as well some of which include talking in a british accent when I become highly stressed or having to turn on a lamp on the other side of my room before turning the main lighting off, both I have recently stopped but still are pretty intresting. I also I had a dream about a science lesson and the next day we did the lesson. The surprising part was I knew all the answers and didnt know how.

An obsession I once had but am now over is pink. I used to only wear pink clothing, drink pink lemonade, and have anything that was pink. Now I look back and think oh dear God, what was I thinking..... :) Macey ~~ Monroe

Recently I've been obsessed about false mustaches...I don't know why but they're fascinating. And I had a dream about everyone around me wearing one, and sadly it didn't come true, but my mom also had a similar dream...so that has to mean something right?

I used to be obsessed with pandas. I loved them! Everytime I saw one (even fake ones) I would go crazy. When I went on the internet the first thing that came up was a live 24 hour PandaCam at the San Diego zoo. While going through my stuffed animals this summer I realized that over 75% of them were pandas. Now, I have no obsession with pandas...my focus has shifted to owls!
