Weekend Book Give-Away: Quintana of Charyn

This week's giveaway is Quintana of Charyn by Melina Marchetta, the epic finale of the Lumatere Chronicles. For lovers of fantasy and immersive world-building, high stakes political intrigue, and complex characters you will fall in love with, if you haven't already picked up this series, now's your chance!

From the publisher:
"Separated from the girl he loves and has sworn to protect, Froi must travel through Charyn to search for Quintana, the mother of Charyn's unborn king, and protect her against those who will do anything to gain power. But what happens when loyalty to family and country conflict? When the forces marshalled in Charyn's war gather and threaten to involve the whole of the land, including Lumatere, only Froi can set things right, with the help of those he loves."

For a chance to win, tell me about a time you couldn't wait for the finale of a series, whether it was a book, movie, or TV show. How did you feel about the way the story ended?

Winner will be selected with Random Number Generator on Tuesday May 28, 2013. Be sure to leave a name with your entry, and check back to see if you won. To win you must be a teen (6th-12th grade, or 12-18) who uses a Sno-Isle Library.

Even though I started reading Harry Potter after all of the books were out, i was borrowing them from a friend and I couldn't wait for the next day of school to get the next book. I knew that the seventh book would be crazy and couldn't wait to read it. I felt like I couldn't finish the sixth book fast enough! I loved the ending, especially the epilogue. When I saw the final movie, I was really excited and loved it but when it ended my friends and I felt emotional that there wouldn't be any more books or movies.

After reading Angel, the second to last book of the "Maximum Ride" series, I found I only had to wait a year for "Nevermore", the finale. I was really excited since this was my favorite series at the time and when I found out a year later the publication date was to be postponed 6 months I went crazy since I couldn't wait! So after a year and a half of waiting, I read the book and it was action-packed, fun, and crazy but then the last chapter was absolutely disappointing, ending the series on a big question of life or death.

Clique, but The Hunger Games. Each book came out and I would sit down and read it all the way through. I love the series and the end pulled at my heart strings.

I couldn't wait for the finale of Grey's Anatomy season 8. They did a huge promotion and I was so anxious to see what would happen.
