Weekend Book Give-Away: Of Poseidon

I know you aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover, but Of Poseidon by Anna Banks just makes me want to dive right in...

Galen, prince of the Syrena, is sent to land to find a girl he's heard can communicate with fish. He finds Emma and after several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, Galen becomes convinced Emma holds the key to his kingdom.

Communicate with fish?  To get a chance to win this weeks book, tell me what would you do if you had this particular skill.

Winner will be selected with Random Number Generator on Tuesday July 17, 2012. Be sure to leave a name with your entry, and check back to see if you won. To win you must be a teen (6th-12th grade, or 12-18) who uses a Sno-Isle Library.

Well...fish must have interesting lives, but I'd mostly want to try and talk to a goldfish. People say that they lose their memory every 3 seconds, and I'd like to be able to try and test that theory out.

Oh geez if I could communicate with fish...You know, I'd probably do something silly like go to the pet store and tell all the fish to swim into a formation that either looks like a certain shape or spells out a word. I guess I'd create a stir like Charlotte's web.

I would go to the aquarium a lot more often, and talk to the fish. And, if the fish prove to have interesting personalities, consider becoming a marine biologist.

Start a fishing business of course. I imagine this skill would become useful in that area....
